All of our homes are privately owned and reflect the tastes of each owner. They are fully furnished with a complete kitchen, blankets and pillows. YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN BED LINENS, TOWELS, PAPER PRODUCTS, SOAPS AND PERSONAL ITEMS. If you wish to rent linens (sheets & towels) we must be notified two weeks prior to arrival. This is a non smoking home.
DEPOSITS AND RESERVATIONS: Reservations are accepted on-line and by phone and are guaranteed for 10 days, by which time we must receive your deposit and booking fee. Beginning March 1, your reservation is guaranteed only when the security deposit and booking fee are actually received. The full balance (rent, tax and cleaning fee) IS DUE 90 DAYS prior to arrival. Upon receipt of your rental contract, please read it carefully, sign and return it with your deposit. Your reservation may be cancelled if we do not receive the signed contract. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR HOME CAREFULLY, as changing homes after arrival is NOT an option.
CANCELLATION: Notices of cancellation must be received 90 days or more prior to arrival date and are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. If cancellation is made less than 90 days prior to arrival, the full rent and tax will be FORFEITED, and your security deposit less $25.00 cancellation fee and cleaning fee will be refunded. If we can rebook the home, all monies with the exception of the $25.00 cancellation fee will be refunded.
REGISTRATION: You will receive check-in instructions the day prior to arrival which will include a map showing directions to the house, location of boat slip plus boat slip rules and regulations and dock diagram if applicable and the access code to the lockbox or electronic door lock. You may CHECK IN ANYTIME AFTER 3:00 P.M., CHECK-OUT IS 10:00 A.M. NO EXCEPTIONS! If found in possession of home after 10:00 a.m. you will be subject to a late fee.
If the home has a key lockbox the keys must be returned to the lockbox and box secured by spinning dial. If KEYS ARE NOT PLACED BACK IN THE LOCKBOX, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $25.00 to have new keys made by the locksmith. Houses must be secured all doors and windows must be closed and locked and any heating or A/C turned off.
DEPOSIT: The full deposit will be refunded within 20 days of departure providing the home and boat dock are left undamaged and you complete the minimal cleaning. Dishes must be cleaned and put away; trash must be removed from the home and boat dock and placed in outside trash cans with lids secured. All food items must be removed from the home and if furniture is moved, it must be put back in its original location.
PETS: Pets are not allowed at any time, except in designated homes. Any evidence of a pet will result in forfeiture of the total security deposit.
For homes that allow pets a Pet Addendum must be signed and a $150.00 Pet Deposit will be charged in addition to your security deposit. Pet Deposit Refund will be returned only if there is no damage to home. You must clean up (outside) after your pet.
SMOKING: Is NOT allowed in the home, unless home is designated SMOKING ALLOWED. Smoking in a non smoking home will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.
OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is limited to the number of persons listed on the contract. Exceeding the number of guests will be considered a breach of contract and could result in forfeiture of the security deposit and possible eviction. Campers, trailers, RVs are not allowed to be hooked up to the utilities at the home. Tents cannot be set up and used on the property. Violation will result in loss of security deposit and possible eviction.
TRASH: PLEASE TAKE TRASH CANS TO THE STREET FOR PICKUP BY 7:00 A.M. ON DAYS INDICATED IN YOUR CHECK-IN PACKAGE.
BOAT REGISTRATION: You must register with the Sheriffs Tower located on the lake. For specific fees please contact the Sheriffs Tower at (559) 642-3606. Fees are dependent on horsepower.
The descriptions and amenities listed on our website are subject to change. We strive to be accurate, however, Bass Lake Home Rentals cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies, errors or changes. If homes are withdrawn or uninhabitable for any reason, our liability will be limited to the return of security deposit or unused rent. Bass Lake Home Rentals assumes no liability for late check-in caused by circumstances beyond our control. If any system or appliance fails to operate during tenancy, OWNER and BASS LAKE HOME RENTALS will pursue repair with due diligence but will not be held responsible for any inconvenience during repair time.
Owner/Agent is not responsible for any personal belongings of the guest that are lost, stolen and left behind. We will make every effort to return items left behind at tenants expense.
Bass Lake is a man-made lake and managed by PG&E. The water level varies season to season and year to year depending upon rainfall, snow pack and PG&E usage. Bass Lake Home Rentals will not be held liable for boat docks and/or boat slips rendered unusable due to the lake water level.

PLEASE OBEY ALL LOCAL ORDINANCES. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS. THERE IS TO BE NO LOUD MUSIC OR NOISE AFTER 10:00 P.M. FIREWORKS ARE AGAINST THE LAW IN BASS LAKE. VIOLATION OF LOCAL LAWS WILL BE CAUSE FOR EVICTION.
